 What it looks like now...

This '55 was treated to a complete new custom garage build up in 2007-08 by the owner and a super friend who happens to have a shop, lift, welding machines, drill presses and lots of other great tools.  The build motto was simple, "MAKE IT SHINY AND GO FAST" so what is not polished stainless, is polished billet aluminum or chrome:

Body Exterior - New grill, smoothed firewall, smooth inner fender wells both painted coral to match, replaced all gaskets, anti-squeak gaskets, upgraded screws, bolts, nuts with polished SS or chrome

Paint - 1955 stock colors India Ivory or Coral. Custom pinstriping by J. Johnson

Interior / Trunk - Tweed with Vinyl classic style bench seat throughout interior and trunk, loop carpet, Custom Autosound USA-5 Stereo & 10 CD Changer hooked to Sony Xplod 10" subwoofers and amps, Jensen speakers, Classic Instruments Bel-Era electronic gauge cluster, Raingear electronic wiper system, custom metal 6-pack cooler battery box for Optima battery.
