This summer, I have taken the car to two All Mopar Shows here in the Midwest. These were my first car shows of any kind and I have received "2nd in Class" at both shows. Pretty good for somebody that had "no clue" as to what I was doing!

The show on the left was "Mopar Happening" in Belvidere, Illinois...home of the Belvidere Chrysler Manufacturing Plant. Great show, but absolutely LOUSY weather. Nothing worse than 95 degree heat with rain on and off all day. The show on the right was "Mopars on the Mississippi" in Dubuque, Iowa. This was the largest show I've been to. There were 380 cars at this show and we (that's my lovely wife, Peggy in the picture) had an absolute blast all weekend.

That's right ladies and gentlemen, we even saw "Elvis" and he brought his "General Lee" from the "Dukes of Hazard" and won "Best of Class" for his entry. I can't believe he walked around all day in that white polyester suit in the 90 degree heat...what a trooper!
