1967 Ford Mustang Fastback V8, auto, power steering, fold down rear seat. This is a running driving car. The engine seems to be very strong. I?m not sure if it?s a 289 or 302. It doesn?t smoke when you start it up. The transmission is making a weird noise like the torque converter is weak. For right now the car runs great and the transmission shifts great with no slipping. The drum brakes stop the car very well. The car doesn?t pull at all when the brakes are applied. Now for the body overall I feel it?s in pretty good shape. The driver?s quarter has had a lower patch put on it along with the outer wheel well patch. The driver?s trunk drop off has been replaced probably when the quarter and wheel well were repaired. The driver?s quarter has some rust in it right now which you can see in the picture. The passenger?s side quarter seems to be original and has a small amount of rust in it which you can see in the picture as well. I feel this quarter can be patched up and saved. The passengers trunk drop off will need to be replaced which you can see in the picture. Both doors are in good shape they have a small amount of bubbling in the lower corners. The floor pans seem to be original and solid. The front and rear frame rails have no rust in them as well as the driver?s side torque box. The hood has been replaced with a turn signal hood but is gutted of the turn signal stuff. Both fenders seem to be in pretty good shape as well. All of the aprons are in really good shape. The apron that has the vin # stamped in it had been replaced before I bought the car. The door data tag is still on the car showing everything. I just received my Marti Report for the car that matches the door data plate which will go with the car as well. The battery apron might need to be replaced but I think you can get by without it. The front and rear door jambs on both sides are in great shape. Both inner and outer rocker panels on both sides are in great shape as well. The roof has a couple of minor dents in it towards the front. The taillight panel and trunk lid seem to be original for the car and are in good shape. I don?t have any of the trim for the car like FORD emblems etc. Basically what you see is what you get. The glass is in ok shape. It looks like the front windshield has been replaced at one time no cracks in it. The door glass has some scratches in both of them. The back glass seems to be in pretty good shape it might have a few minor scratches. The original color of the car was Vintage Burgundy with black standard interior and a 3 speed manual transmission but it has an auto in it now. The interior looks ok and that?s about it. You can make your own judgment from the pics. Everything works on the car lights, blinkers, wipers, etc. The paint on the car is ok but it is cracked in many areas, it will need body work and a paint job for sure to make the car really nice or you can drive it as is. I have tried to describe this car to the best of my ability so no one will be disappointed if they come to look at the car. I have seen rollers that needed more work then this car on Ebay sell for $7,500. Right now the 67 fastback is the hottest fastback to own. Don?t miss out on this one!!! For the price I don?t think you will be disappointed. I have a clean and clear title in my name.
