"Linette"
Welcome! I ordered the profile's pictures in the order of which I did the modding, so you'll see more of the main pic's style towards the end.
Linette is a 1998 VW Passat 1.8t with a 5 speed manual transmission. I got her in May of 2005 bone stock as my first car. I hardly knew how to drive stick when I bought her, and I wasn't much into the dub scene at the time. It's definately a fever everyone catches!
Around the age of 15 and 16, I was looking at Mustang GT's and Camaro Z28's...American muscle. I had a decent amount of money, so I wanted to go big. When it became time to start test driving some cars, my parents didn't like the idea of me having a muscle car for safety reasons and probably the more obvious reason, speeeeed. They offered to buy me a 1998 Passat 1.8t. I was like HELL YEAH! FREE CAR!
My first mod was wheels because the stock wheels are so ugly. I did this in early June.
In July, $2000 of damage was done to the front end and driver's side of the car after hitting a deer. I got it fixed quicky (and poorly ) and got back on the road. I quickly noticed a difference in the quality of the sound of my speakers. The sound was fuzzy, and it made crackle sounds. Hence, my second mod. Stereo!
