The Story
My 1977 924 Porsche was given to me as a 15th birthday present by my uncle. It is nothing special just a regular American Issue 924 with a 2.0L and a 4 Speed Manual Transmission.
The body needs a little work and a new coat of paint would be good. Also the engine needs works because it had a blown head gasket. So the plan was to pull the engine tear it down and rebuild it by putting in all new gaskets, bearings, seals, etc...
Right now the car is sitting in my driveway as a rolling chassis and the engine is on a stand in my garage. I am slowley working on tearing it down and working to get all the parts so I can get the car back to running condition.
