I needed a replacement truck for my rusted out 79 Chevy 3/4 ton that would no longer pass inspection (still runs like a champ though). I ran across this 1978 Chevy K5 Blazer on the auctions, and had to have it. I always wanted to have a hardcore, testosterone dripping, mud machine. It was wrecked when I got it, but from New Mexico, so NO RUST, which is great. It has a standard Chevy 5.7L V8 with a 3 speed Tranny, and Posi-Rear running 4:11's.
Below are pics from when I 1st bought it, and was delivered to me. Other than the obvious body damage, the only thing that was wrong was a ruptured gas line. After fixing that it ran just fine.
