Hey man, good looking car! Nice, nice paint. I'll have to get mine re-done very soon, as its swirling all over the car. About the K&N, no - it doesn't improve performance. I didn't put a cone filter in though, its a lay-in filter to replace the one in the factory airbox. What I am doing for performance is a little more pricey. I've got a super-eta, so I'm putting a 325i camshaft, dual valvesprings, intake manifold, throttle body, and m20b25i chip. I put on an exhaust from Magnaflow for looks and sound, and it didn't improve performance either. Visit e30tech.com for some good feedback from other e30 tuners.
