This is the progress on my new fiberglass sub box. It's the first time I've ever used fiberglass so please keep that in consideration when judging my quality.
Ok.... So, one sub died. It was cheaper to build another box for the one than buy another sub so here it is. I'm quite pleased actually and if anyone is interested I'll sell my fiberglass box for really cheap.
Ok, so the glue melted and the vinyl pulled away. So, I painted it again. I PROMISE, this is the last time. If I feel like doing any more, I'll just make another box.
Finished product (almost) I think I'm going to do a vinyl flap aross the top and back with velcro to hold it in a little better. I have some red and black, but I'll probably end up doing black. *I removed the foam padding. I think it looks better and it definately fits better. I'm probably going to still do the vinyl flap across the top, but now the whole box is covered in black vinyl (looks tons better in person).
I installed this trunk light switch so I can turn the trunk light off to see the LEDs flashing to the music when the trunk is open.
