here WAS my new mazda 3.i bought it new in jan.'06,and sold it oct.'06! i had custom leather installed by Classic Soft Trim. all the embroiderwork is stitched into the leather.they are not just seat covers. I painted the custom grafix on the car myself!! it took me two months, and i did it in my garage! my "3" has a six disc changer, moon roof and 17 inch wheels. i put 1 inch drop springs,cold air intake, custom painted engine compartment. i used to work at a custom shop and have been painting for about 8 years. i drove it for a week when i first bought it and then put it in the garage for all the custom stuff.i had a general idea what i wanted to do with the paint but all that changed once i started.originally, i was going to paint both sides the same, but after fighting with time restictions and ideas, i decided to do something different on the other side. i did the paint on the passenger side first because of being right handed an i always start at the back of the car with artwork.by the time i was finished with that side i HAD to do something different on the otherside.i wanted the car to be really unique,so i used an idea i had sometime ago for the driver's side.so where the passenger side is alot(i do mean alot) of tape work and shadows, the driver's side is alot of freehand stuff.
