2000 SALEEN S281 SPEEDSTER #765 (FOR SALE) $41,000

Here is my Funstang!!! I bought this in the winter, kept it in the garage, made all my payments and now...it is the Summer and time to enjoy it.
This is a photo I took of the car shortly after I purchased it. It is parked in front of my office. I show my clients the photo and it starts the conversation sometimes..."Cheap ice-breaker!"
I put my Saleen in a car show held in my hometown. It won the Best of Show Late Model trophy. I also entered my 1996 GT Convertible for fun and it won a Top 50 trophy. Today I put both cars in an all Mustang show. There were 31 classes of Mustangs.

The Saleen won 3rd place in the Saleen category. There were several nice Saleens at the show. I couldn't believe the car actually placed, but I won't complain.
For showing purposes, I had to open the trunk, open both doors, pop the hood, roll up the windows and put the convertible top up.
Now I am finally supercharged. 451 hp at the crank...383 at the rear wheels! Vortech V-2 SQ supercharger, Vortech Intercooler, Powercooler, 42 lb. Bosch injectors, 80mm Mass Air meter, Gatorbelt, smaller pulley, Oil cooler, battery relocator kit, Saleen guages, custom burned chip with Dyno (Paul's Automotive in Cin, OH): Also, now I have added the Delete grille. Looks much better than the mesh grille before.
Battery Relocated to trunk by Insano Customs in Florence, KY. Stephen Barclay did entire supercharger installation. Great work!
New 2000 Cobra R hood. Custom paint by Randy's Autobody in KY.

We are a little sunburned, but the show was awesome!

Update: Car is for sale. I am buying House, hiring staff person, getting married. $41,000 takes the car. No lower offers accepted. Serious inquiries to: tony_rollins@hotmail.com

PS: Here is a pic of my new 00 Lincoln Navigator. I bought it last week on Ebay. I am shipping the car from Texas to Kentucky this week. Hopefully everything works out. I will be putting up a quick page on the SUV.
