Here is my '87 D-100 that I bought on January 30,2006.

Here's the running gear:
-225 Slant 6
-904 Trans
-8.25 Rear

Mods/Work Done So Far:-Bed-Mounted ToolBox And Bedliner Removed
-'75 Duster Steering Wheel
-Turbine Wheels/New Tires
-New Tail Lights
-Semi-electronic ignition,with vacuum advance distributor
-Rebuilt Holley 1bbl from a '76 Aspen
-Both Doors replaced, along with left front fender

Future plans include:
-2BBL Swap
-Front Sway Bar
-more body work

Here are some pics of it a few days before I picked it up:

Here is a pic taken a little while later, after replacing the ugly stock wheel covers:

Updated interior shot, after adding an aftermarket cd player, and a steering wheel out of a '75 Duster:

After adding turbine wheels (off of a '86 Ramcharger) and a steel toolbox:

An in-progress pic taken after I replaced the left front fender and door,as well as the front bumper.

Quick pic of the "good side"(every old truck has a good side & a bad side). Also in the pic you can see that I had replaced the passenger door with one from a '89,which matched perfectly and gave me the newer style mirrors.

Got this back in Feb.,a 2-barrel setup for the slant 6. Maybe someday I'll actually install it.

Sweet project. Its cool to see that there is still interest in these first gen Rams. Maybe someone will finally start to make custom parts for them. Come check out my clean 93 when you get the chance.
