ropeshafter2's 1975 Dodge D-Series Pick-Up

Good old reliable. I purchased this truck for $450.00 in 2001 here in California. Needed the typical tune-up and some fuel system attention. Been a great little parts hauler, dump run truck and all around town daily driver. Plans are a complete rebuild of the 318 and install of the Edelbrock Performer intake and Holley along with other typical go-go goodies. Reminds me of an old Tonka truck.

ropeshafter2's 1975 Dodge D-Series Pick-UpGood old 318 still under the hood. Still has the now unnecssary (exempt)California Emission stuff.
ropeshafter2's 1975 Dodge D-Series Pick-UpNeat simulated Burlwood instrument panel really contrasts well with the rest of the interior.

All original paint. Showing it's age but still looks good for it's age. Missing Tonka emblem on door, don't you think?LOL

Nice old Dodge! You need some different rims, though. A set of Mopar "road wheels" would look great imo. Check out my 75.

thanks for posting the comments on my truck, I have recently made a new page... and am in the process of building a 416 Stroker for my pickup... Check out all my updates and hopefully you'll keep in touch!

Great truck! My heart is really into this machine! I'm still driving a 3/4 ton '76 Dodge for work, but planning to restore the '75 Fleetside - shortbox that sits next to my house now. Silver, and black under the side trim. Darn thing used to jump off the ground when you stepped on it - needs alot of work now though to bring it back. Thanks for the photos you posted. Soren318

Hey like the truck too! Can't beat that price either. Get a trailer and use it to pull your Tempest to shows, they are the same color. You'll be a hit!
