The pictures speak for themselves. The car has 42,000 original miles on it and has been kept under cover for 34 of its 36 year life.

I thought I would update my profile and update you all on the status of my two 70 verts.

The black one is "my" car and now has 47,000 miles on it. It runs like a scalded dog and gets twice the mileage of my 07 BMW X5! I spent a year having the stock AM radio converted to accept FM while converting the front speaker to a dual cone unit and adding a second back speaker. Looked stock so no issues but my original had a quadraphonic 8 track system with 10 speakers and suffice to say, I was disappointed.

I found a great shop in Duluth called Digital Audio and they installed an awesome system deep in the glove box with hidden link that connects to an iPOD in the ashtray. All amps and 2 10 inch subwoofers are located under the top boot and is carpeted to match the stock carpeting exactly. You cannot tell there is a system in the car save the sweet savory sounds of Ten Years After "A Space in Time" or the Who at ear dripping volume as clear as a bell. It was worth every penny.

I can't go anywhere without starting a conversation, young or old and I can't express the fun I have had with this car.

So on to the green monster. She has been completely checked out from front to rear, re-wired completely and just waiting for my daughter to finish her commitments to me before I hand her the keys. We went by Saturday to Flashback Motors in Cummings, GA to check on our baby and I have to tell you, I can't imagine a better motivator for a nineteen year old kid. She can't wait to get her hands on it. School first and then...
