Paid 70$ for this beast in 1989.No cylinder head,doors or brakes.Thrashed on it for 2 weeks,used my 58 F-100 for a parts donor plus a 223/6 cyl from a friends donor truck.Daily driver for 12 years,135,000 miles,1 more 223,3 trannies,3 front end collisions,moved from Winnipeg to Calgary,swapped out 6/3 for a 292 y-block V/8 with 4 speed.Then I went on vacation,lost oil,smoked a bearing and threw a con rod out the side of the block.So now the truck is in storage waiting for the new engine to be finished(and a garage to work on the truck).Future plans are for a complete rebuild,finances permitting(lol).
