Gotta love these little cars!! Found mine on it's last leg in a wrecking yard in Bisbee,Arizona in 1998. Wish I had photos of it then. Never thought I'd actually get to drive it. I've had the engine rebuilt by Bob Borker in Sierra Vista and did the paint myself before moving here to California to make it presentable and protect it from the elements for now. Slowly piecing it together to work out all the few bugs and things accustomed from sitting since 1967. Soon to be installed will be the top and interior. I plan to enjoy it as much as possible with plans of a total ground up resto in the future. Will be posting my other rides as well soon.

there's a long list. We had so many problems with my engine we bought and entirely new one. It was the same engine as a mine 215 V8 but it was about to go into an airplane. 6K was put into the engine but we bought in for 400$. The guy that had it died and the guy that sold it did not know what the engine had. The car had a performance cam. It was bored 60 over which is the max. The engine is a stroker. The crank was taken out of a 300 CI engine and put into the mine. There's performance pistons in the engine. It's been port and polished. Lots of extras that we paid only 400$ for , and it has a larger carberator. Thanx for the comment. tempests are nice. i think i have tempest rear seats. they don't match my car perfectly but close enough. talk to ya later

Love these Lil Tin Indians! We are building a '62 Tempest Tube Chassis Drag Car. At first I was not crazy about these cars, but it really grows on you. They have such great body lines! Great job on the car, and keeping up the good work!

Nice car! I'm starting the restoration on my '65 Tempest Wagon. I was hoping that you could take a look and possible take the poll on my page concerning what colors to paint my car.

Thanks,
Scott
