My car started life in 1981 as a 924 Turbo - it was upgrade in 1985 to Carrera GT specification by people who worked for the Rothmans rally team in the United Kingdom.
Since I purchased the car in 1986/87 I raced extensively in New Zealand includign in the support races to the Wellington Street races of the late 80's early 90's.
I retired the car fromserious racing in 1996 - however it is still used a an everyday road car and has done about 260,000 miles and still runs really sweetly - but unfortunately it's a bit slower than when I first got it as it has not had any major engine work since the GT conversion
