From one 83 Owner to another? WATCH WHAT VINYL TOP!!! I Prided myself in having a rust free 83, and shortly before my accident nearly a year ago, our friend who does body work told me I needed to yank the top and address the rust under the top. I thought the pucker over the rear window on the passenger side was just that a pucker, well, when the top was removed this summer there was a ONE HELL OF A HOLE under that pucker!!! Come to my garage and check out what was under that top!!! All the grey primer spots around the windows and back of the roof were where those holes were repaired!!! This is one nice car, and I am sure you want to keep it that way. Regals like ours are hard to find in this kind of shape. Keep the shiny side up and keep the upside shiny!!! I will never regret removing that top. I would like to try to do something with the stainless steel that went in front of the top, but I can learn to love what we wound up with.
