First of all I would like to thank all those who had the time to visit my page and leave their comments in the guest book!

Here is the story of the latest mini that I own. My name is Raymond Muscat from Mgarr.

I am a great lover of cars, but my great passions are minis. In fact I own 2, a 1975 Austin Mini and a 1989 Mini Mayfair (which I use as my daily car). I also own a moddied Subaru Justy (Subaru Justy).

This is the story of my latest mini a 1975 Austin Mini which I bought in December 2005. The car was already in pretty good shape with no visible signs of rust.

Pictures below show the mini prior to its trip to Landrijiet where the paint stripping process was awaiting.

The first step was to strip down the old paint. This was not an easy job and 3 cans of paint remover where used.

Soon after the stripping was done, the body refinement process was done

Undercoat and sanding was next

When the undercoat was sanded down the body was painted. The roof was painted in white, white the rest of the body was painted in Zirco Blu.

After the painting the car was taken back to home
