Page edit to come soon. I recently dropped a Ver. 3 STI motor and trans in it (280 hp) and I am in the process of finishing it up.
Also swapped in were the front and rear brakes, rear diff, 2.5rs pedal box, and other bits and pieces.


These are a few shots of my car right after I picked it up. It's missing the gas cap cover and the paint is fading bad. But all in all not too bad.

They dont look so bad ... I threw em on kinda just for boredom and they prolly wont come off they give it a bit of a euro look.

Pics of my car after we painted it and on the beach... I got extremely bored after we went out to the dunes one day and I noticed a bunch of scratches from sand, sticks, and rocks and was annoyed at the crappy paint job on the car.. I decided if it was gunno look cheap it might as well look good ... at least as good as it can be. I figured flat black, its a sick color easy to fix scratches :) anyways... I ended up with this and I turn more heads with this than anything I have ever driven.

I drove up the side of the bridge/hill in Marco at the beach and took a pic of the car at an angle trying to make it look really steep... But you can see the bridge in the back and it gives it away.

... Ya so this is why you don't give me the keys to a car, the directions to a mudhole, and 45 mins of free time. :P haha we go out to this trail about once a week or so now just to have a good time... Gotta love that AWD
This is the car that replaced my 2002 VW Jetta after the accident.
Car had 168,050 miles when I bought it... still runs like new although very very slow... Came off the lot chuggin and almost wanting to stall out. I threw a set of plugs, and a fuel filter on it and fixed 2 wires that werent getting a good contact and it runs fine now except if I get it REALLY hot it will sort of miss a slight bit. I have to do a little bit of minor work (set of wheel bearings, coil, wires, shift bushings, and paint) and it will be champ til I get into it.
It is a nice little car has some major potential... I am just hoping it doesnt turn out to be a difficult mission to make it nice and quick.
I am going to be looking into a motor swap. Most likely the 2.5 rs motor if I can find one for a good deal. Or the 2.0 wrx motor.
It is a real change in vehicles for me... my first AWD and first jap car. I got all the way home was putting the plugs into it and noticed the Jap writting... thats when it hit me.. "Awhh this isnt German" :/ was such a strange feeling to think that hehe...
