wildfire78's 1978 Dodge D-Series Pick-Up My Toy. 78 Dodge D100, 318 with Edelbrock Performer Intake, Modified Holley 700 double pumper, Comp Cams 2Hi-Entergy cam 68 duration/494 lift, Equal length headers, 2 1/2 duals through Flow Master mufflers, 9.5 compression ratio, Excel electronic ignition, 2800 stall convertor, 727 Torgueflite trans with B&M shift kit, 4.11 Sure Grip rear end.

I have completely redone the front suspension adding Poly bushing everywhere with new ball joints upper and lower. I replaced the body and bed mounts with poly bushing also. I am presently in the process of redoing the dash panel, installing new gauges, etc..

Winded up being called "Yellow Monster" because that's what my sister kept referring to it as.

Most people think it is stock unless they listen to it idle and then are shocked when I blow their doors off.

Used a set of Specialty Component Engineering (SCE) Pro Copper head gaskets with a compressed thickness of .021 in. with flat top pistons to get the compression up some.
