CURRENT MODS, FUTURE PLANS

UPDATE: bad news...unfortunately, working 2 jobs and being married, i don't have time to continue working on this car, esp since the floor is pretty much rusted through...so i am selling parts off this car, or if i get a good enough offer, i will sell it as a parts car. It has an idling issue, and is overheating (hopefully just the thermostat, but i'm not sure)...so if you need any parts from this car, leave me a note in my guestbook, or at my e-mail (verticallychalleng3d@hotmail.com) and we can try to work something out. aight...sorry for not updating for a while...i've been in california for the past few months, so the car has just been sitting in the garage...anyways...i'm back now, and the car is pretty much stripped...i'm prepping it for fiberglass work and torching out all the rust spots in the floor, and whatnot...also gonna start sanding for a new paint job...let the fun begin...

current engine work being done:

aight...so right now, i just pulled off the old oil pan (which was alot harder than i thought it would be) and put on the new one that i bought...also installed the ac/waterpump belt, and am prepping the exhaust for a repainting, then i'm gonna wrap it with heatwrap tape to keep the heat were its suppossed to be. other than that, 'm just cleanin up the engine so that it doesn't look like a pile of crap slightly resempling a honda engine.

current body work being done:

right now i have located a couple junkyards that have 1st gen crx's to find some body parts for my car, including the front left fender, and the left turn signal (the car was obviously in a small fender bender before i got it). also, i'm torching out most of the floor, and replacing that, since it has rusted through at the kickpanels...the entire interior is stripped, other excluding the dash and whatnot...i decided that i'm just gonna leave the car red and black...still gonna repaint all the places that r rusted over after i cut out the bad sections...and i'm gonna give the nose a coat of black paint, along with the hood, just to make it stick out a lil bit...but other than that, its stayin red...ah well...
