This is my baby. I've had a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse, a 1992 Nissan 240SX, a 2001 Honda Civic, and a 2000 Jeep Wrangler. After all those cars, the one I've owned the most is my 2003 Ford Focus ZX3.
The car is a work in progress, and many mods are coming but the main plan for this car is too keep it an "all-motor" car, and maybe move on to forced induction on another Focus.
As you can see the mods on the exterior are very limited, but I really wanna give the car a "sleeper" look. The rims are 17" Konig Hurrys, with Toyo Proxes wrapped around them at all four corners. I need to drop my car also, and I have the Tein S-Tech springs nearly bought, I just need to buy either the Eibach shocks, or the stock SVT shocks.
I also installed a Number One brake rotor kit from Nopi with new performance pads, because my stock rotors and pads were just horrible as you Focus owners know.
In the back I have taken off the "Focus" and "ZX3" emblems, and they were a pain in my butt to get off, but the end result looks a lot cleaner.
I had a custom exhaust installed, because the aftermarket cat-backs sold for the Focus, like the Borla system, have tip-style rear exits, and I really hate the tip-style look. HKS makes a system for my car, but it is too expensive and the piping is to small(2 1/4"). So I went and got a performance muffler, and 2 1/2" piping and completed my fully custom after-cat exhaust.
The car sounds awesome, not like a Honda, but what a refined hatchback should sound like. In the trunk, I've got 2 12" subs in a custom box, with a 500wattx2channel amp. Nothing special just sufficient enough for me.
Performance wise, I have got an AEM Cold Air Intake, My custom exhaust, a Number One strut bar, AEM bypass valve, and some more parts to come.
This is a good shot of the tread on the Toyo's.
Interior wise, I have some carbon fiber pedals, and a race shift knob.
Future plans include, Essinger cams, AEM Cam Gears, AEM pulley kit, HID headlights, LED smoked taillights, and finally get my suspension done.
