In 1983 I was a Freshman in High School and a guy that lived next to the school had a Brand New 1982 DeLorean. I fell in love with the car the first time I saw it. 1997 I got married and guess what? My new wife works for the owner of that 82 DeLorean. In 1998 he got the car out of storage, because I had asked to purchase it from him. He drove it around for a couple of weeks and decided to put it back into storage. I have been bugging him every time I saw him, and bugging my wife to keep asking him to sell it to me. Well he finally caved in and sold it to me in August of 2005. So now in 2005 I am the proudnowner of the exact 1982 DeLorean that I first fell in love with back as a Freshman in High School. It now has only 9100 miles on it and is in pretty good shape, other than the typical 20 years worth of storage. More to come.
