Page 4- Engine

The engine is a 360 small block 2 bbl. It isnt pushing out a lot of horsepower.... right now lol. I am planing on putting on an edelbrocke performer intake, and a holly 600cfm carb. I am also looking at porting the heads, shaving the heads, and doing a valve job. New mopar valve covers, a k&n air cleaner, and block hugger headers to finish it all up.

So far i have put in a new radiator, a water pump, also plugs, cap, and rotar.

Well i figured it was time to spruce up the engine compartment.

Other stuff-
I have put on new rear brake lines and rear wheel cylenders, with flex lines. I have to put on a power steering pump, its screeming bloody hell right now. I also am going to put on a brake master cylender, front calipers, pads, and flex lines.

Well Some work has been done after my last posting on here. Since then I have put on a new brake master cylender. The car actually stays still at a stop light, and doesnt creep forward lol. It turns out the car didnt need a power steering pump. Turns out that the belt was just a little bit loose, (I sure as hell couldnt tell, it seemed real tight) but tightned that up, and it doesnt scream anymore! Now the good stuff. I had the carburator rebuilt, after feeling a lot of hesitation, I think the accelerator pump was going bad. While i had the carb off, i had the intake off, and had that hot tanked. Then had it painted. but they decided to paint the whole block! I was estatic to see it afterwards. I couldnt believe how good it looked! These pictures dont do it any justice!! But now the car accelerates without any hesitation. Also when your at a stop you dont get rattled to death from the carb choking the enginge. That is pretty much all that has happened so far, will post more stuff as more happens.

Well nothing much going on right now, trying to get the car ready for my big local car cruise Helluva cruise (helluvacruise.com). I got a new mopar performance blaster coil, as long as the moper performance oarnge electronic control unit box. But after instaling both of those the car was leaning out in the higher rpm's and running like dog sh#!. So right now it only has the coil on, and it does help alot. I also decided to get some new shiny valve covers, the ol ones were nice but all the old gromits, and gaskets leaked and was putting oil all ovwer my new paint lol. Also put on a new air cleaner. I was blown away by the differenc of feel and hearing of the new air cleaner. The car really pulls now when you stomp on it, and also the car sounds a lot more throaty when accelerating hard. AWESOME!!
