Alright, well this is my 1975 dodge monaco. I saved it from someone bying it for a demo derby, "I dont know what dumb ass would use this wonderful car for a derby lol" But people can be stupid. Anywhase i bought it for $800. First saw it for $1500 but didnt have the money. Saw it again for $800 2 months later, couldnt pass it up. Ive owned it for 4 years now

The car is originally from origon, but has been in michigan for elevan years now. The man i bought it from used to work on it for the original owner. The man told the owner that if he ever wanted to get rid of it to let him have first dibs on it. So the owner wanted to get rid of it and the man bought it. He also saved it from someone who wanted to derby it, "God people are dumb".

So he owned it for 10 years, used it as a daily driver for a little bit and kept it in great shape. He then decided it was time to sell it, being he had other cars he was working on. So i bought it. Drove it how it was for 3 years. But being a dumb kid i drove it a couple times in the winter and didnt take the best care of it, and that took its toll on the poor thing. I had bought my other car, the newport, and i was more into that then this. She sat for a year or so in the backyard neglected getting worse and worse. But ive always had a soft spot for her. Well i had finally had enough watching her dissapear from rust. So this last spring i did what i always wanted to do to her, i made her the bluesmobile from the movie "The bluesbrothers".
Heres what she looked like before the transformation.

This color brown was dodge's end of run color. Dode did the remaining vehicles in this color, all models. Ive seen this color a lot. I even had a 75 coronet the same color, with same colored vynal top.
