Sorry, I just got done restoring this car and do not have many pictures. Hopefully I will have some more pics up as it gets warmer.
A LITTLE HISTORY OF THE HURT/OLDS:
A total of 2,535 of these were made (1,193 with the 455) which makes this car extremely rare. The 455 was built from 1968-1976 and the high performance 7.5 liter 455 V8 on the Hurst/Olds carried right around 400 stock horsepower.
A LITTLE HISTORY OF MY HURST/OLDS:
I bought this car when I was fifteen years old for only $700. It had a worn out rocket 350 which ran nothing like a rocket at all. The engine was tired and the body was shot. For the past few years little by little, the car was pieced together and restored. I did much of the body work myself and I painted the vehicle. I dropped in the 455 engine, which was professional built, and the only other aftermarket parts on this car are the air cleaner and cam. I wanted to add a little to the car without taking away any of its classic make-up.
Here are a few pictures which were taken right after the car was painted this last winter.
I am new to CarDomain.com, but I will soon have more pics and specs up here.
