This is my 90 Sierra stepside. I bought it in October 2005, and put it on the road in July 2006. When I bought it a connecting rod in the motor had been craked off, and the motor needed to be replaced. The tailgate had been stolen, there were no rear shocks, the ribs under the floor of the bed had rusted, along with several other minor things. On the plus side a got a fiberglass cap with it, and these are very hard to find.
The first thing done was the motor, when this was done the truck was parked for the winter.
When the spring came around the bed was taken off, and the whole rear section of the chassis was replaced, along with the ribs under the bed floor, and a section of the bed which had rusted through because of the bedliner.
Before she went on the road she also had a new windsheild installed, new parking brake cables, and new rear shocks.
There was no work done to the body panels or interior, because the were in pretty good shape for the year of the truck.

She has 273,000 kms on the body, the milage on the motor is unknown. It is a 305 small block.
I also picked up a used set of rims. They are American Racing Tailgunners, 15x7, with 255/60/15's in front, and 255/70/15s on back.

I also found a tailgate, which wasn't an easy task, and I was very lucky to get this one.
That's about it for the truck for now. Future plans include a paint job and dual exhaust, but they won't be for awhile yet.
