Hi, this is my baby, its my first car, i've had it for almost 3 years and i am the 2nd owner...thats right its an 83 its a classic and its only had one other owner besides me. i bought it from an older guy around his 70s and he took very good care of it, he also documented all of the parts he had put into it...mostly repairs, never any upgrades, i however have threw in a few upgrades...nothin major just little things. the 460 is not installed, it was bought to be installed and replace the 3.8 v6 it currently has. the 460 has about 90k it was pulled from an 87 van and ran when pulled, it is complete (minus carb), the pic is it with a few things off as i had planned to rebuild it and build it up but since then i have more bills then i expected and have to pay for school, i do have a rebuild kit i am including with it. as for the car itself it has about 145k, i bought it with 113k, it runs strong but has a rough idle, the carb needs a rebuild, the cold starts kinda suck like with every other carb'd vehicle but after that its strong and sounds nice. the body is pretty clean, theres a small rust spot on the rear of the driver side front fender by the rocker panel and a small hard to notice dent behind the driver side door, also it sometimes vapor locks, i have installed dual electric fans to help with that problem. the exhaust on it was done recently, 2.5 inch pipes with a glass pack muffler and no cat, it sounds like a v8, in fact i've had people ask me if it was a gt and had people try to race me in it due to that fact, it sounds like one and has an 87 gt wing so it kinda looks like one except no hood scoop ground fx or dual exhaust. the other thing wrong with it is that it needs brake work, i am including the parts to fix it, i believe its a frozen caliper but just in case i'm including 2 new front calipers and a new vaccum booster m/c assembly, i've been trying to find time and a warm day to get it all installed so if that opportunity comes up before the car is sold then forget about the brake problem. below are a few pics along with the list of everything in it.

A few other things I'm throwing in...some extra exhuast parts, a rear end gasket, amsoil gear oil, equa torque rear end stabilizer, a haynes repair manual for the car, a haynes bbf engine overhaul manual, I also found the original 14 inch spare tire with 100% tread but it needs to be sealed...the bead is broken, i dont know if its from sitting for so long because its never been used or what, I'll throw it in if you want it, also if you want to take it apart for pick up or pay for shipping on it i'll throw in my engine stand, i only used it once for the 460 but since then i have taken it off of the stand for storage, possibly a few other misc things, depends whats in my boxes.

The rims are the limited edition 16 inch ford thunderbird turbocoupe rims that were only used in 87 and 88.

the car and the motor are also for sale seperatly make me an offer i'd like to get $2200 for both the car and motor together and would prefer to sell them as one, the car is in eden prairie, mn and the motor is in hopkins, mn in my storage garage (about 10 minutes away), i do have a hoist to lift the motor into whatever you need to lift it into, the pic is of the car with connecticut plates because i moved here less then a year ago for college and planned to store it for winter so i havent changed the plates, the car was garaged from november through the middle of january but my roomate screwed me over and forced me to move (hence the reason to sell the car due to the amount i owe on my lease that i cannot pay). email me at sfkustomz@tmail.com or call me at 952-465-8741 for more info or if youd like to come look at it, if youre in the area i work at bumper to bumper auto parts in hopkins on the corner of shady oak rd and excelsior blvd if youd like to come talk to me, i'm there mon-fri 3-8 and sat 10-6, my name is anthony or tony. also if you want an engine stand for the 460 i have one and i'll throw it in if i get the asking price, otherwise i'll let it go for $50, its assembled but never been used because i had to move.
