I own a 2001 Jetta GLS. The car has black leather interior and a Monsoon stereo w/ 6 disc CD changer. I have installed a pair of MB Quart 6 1/2 DFK116 speakers in the front door speakers. I still have the stock VW speakers in the rear and I'm planning on installing Pioneer 6 1/2 2-ways for the rear door panels. For my low range sound I have two 400 watt DHD NTX-2004 2/3/4 channel amps each running power to 10 inch Kicker Comp C10 subwoofers in a MTX sealed box.
