Well it all started when I bought my first car back in 96 it was a 1989 Dodge Daytona 2.5 Turbo ES 5-speed. It was like new. I fell in love with it the first time I drove it. It was hard just taking off without chirping the tires. I was impressed with its speed as well. The second day I had it I raced an Eagle Talon TSI and blew him away. Anyway throughout the years I had a few accidents, the paint started to fade on the top, like alot of chrysler cars, and it was really starting to look pretty bad. I had plans to fix it back up. Then the trans or clutch locked up on me one day.
The next week I saw a 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby for sale. It was in really nice shape, it had T-tops, a Garrett T2 intercooled turbo and somewhat descent rims. The catch was it needed engine work. So I thought I would make it a project car.
Well the first thing I had to do was get the engine rebuilt. I'm having it bored out, and port and polished. Next I'm getting a new turbo maybe even a bigger one, there is also alot of other future mods which I'll list later.
