4/2009 Summary: I had a full set of Eibachs given to me as the very first car to have them. I am also the first person to complain to Eibach of excessive, rapid tire wear (negative camber), and their concern was ZERO. The R&D guy would give lip service with no follow up. Experiment over; I demanded they take them off and put my old springs back on. I am out of pocket for two complete sets of tires and I'm looking at having to buy a new set of struts. The car has slightly less than 50,000 miles on it at the time of this writing, and has never been road raced nor abused in any way.
I am a certified ASE Triple Master Technician, and former Auto Tech Teacher.
Other issues: Engine "stutter" at 2800-3200 rpm under acceleration load is unresolved by computer re-flash done by the dealer. California cars are limited by 91 octane gas. Maybe this contributes to the problem (?) Problem happens in mild to hot weather.
