New Front Grille, actually the second one (not counting the original) She's been wrecked twice. Shortly after I got her a brake cylinder blew and I ran into the house next door and hit a 4x4 wooden beam holding up an exterior stairwell and it all came crashing down. I found a 122s parts car in the neighborhood and towed it home and parted it out, swapping out many parts and selling others. Once fixed and near ready to paint a 16yr old girl came to a complete stop on a freeway entrance ramp (on wet/slick road) and I slid into her wrecking what I had just fixed. This grille is a new piece from Swedish Classics. Left front fender from parts car and hood from junk yard!
I've gone through the engine replacing most gaskets, seals, hoses. Brand new distributor, water pump, engine mounts, spark plug wires, clutch master cylinder, and clutch. I pulled parts from the parts car and this car, evaluating which was the better part and cleaning the part up and using it for this car. I painted the engine block and fan blade.
After all the work on the front end I moved to the rear end. In stripping the paint I found the rear end had been wrecked and there was alot of bondo on rear at right under rear light and on the left rear panel. Many hours of sanding and contouring and she looks pretty good.
Four new tires, rear shocks, rear bushings, new brakes and rebuilt cylinders all the way around. Still need to do front shocks, ball joints and then I tackle the interior and paint.
