Picked this car up in November '05 for $600 and drove it home 5 hours from Michigan without a single problem, very solid car. the plan for this one is to swap out the whole drivetrain for a '89 Ford Probe GT motor that I got out of a PGT I bought for $450 and stripped half apart, then junked it, and I have some stuff from it I don't need and can sell it off for a little extra change. The probe is front wheel drive, so I need a transmission from a Mazda B2200 to make it rear wheel drive. While I'm replacing those, I'm going to swap out the weak stock rear end for something stronger, probably a late 80's Toyota 2WD truck rear, very easy to find and get parts for.

During the swap, I will also be doing some body work and a small bit of interior stuff, so it should be a fairly long project and I'll be sure to post updates as I progress through this.
