The car in the driveway I baught it from
My car as it is todayThe story of my 300D. The lil thing was driven by an old lady, who never really broke 60. Never in an accident and completely clean. In 1995, she had it imported from Italy. She came here, and moved to an apartment in New York City. It was in a garage, both in Italy and America. In 2000, the woman moved to Staten Island, an outer borough of NYC. Car was not frequently used. In the summer of 2003, a few cars in the neighborhood, including my 300D, had their plates stolen. When this happened, the woman did not want to drive to the DMV and risk a ticket, nor did she know how to go by bus. Every morning on the way to school, from the bus window, Id say, "I gotta see if there gonna sell that car." After some procrastinating, I did so. I got a good look at the car, saw the paint was badly chalked and that the fender moulding was missing. After an inquiry, I was put on a list of about 10 people who also wanted the car. The lady liked me, and she sold me the car, which only has 88,ooo miles, for a mere $1,5oo. What a score. I braught it home, compounded it out, cleaned it out. The car was georgeous. The only downfall was that the car was, "Americanized". They installed the bigger bumpers, and the round headlights. When I saw the receipt for the lights, the lady told me she shipped them back to the apartment she had in Italy. I later received the lights in the mail and I was fast on the road. The car looks and rides great. best $1,5oo I ever spent. I removed the old stereo, and added a new Sony Cd player, with 4 new Rockford Fosgate speakers. So thats the story of my 300D. I hope to get some more pics of it soon, I hope you enjoy!
