numba1capri's 1969 Ford Capri

Here is a pic of my capri shell that a have just bought, it came with all panels. I intend on doin a ground up restoration.

The shell is pretty good, all the panels are in pretty good shape, and it hasn't had any mayjor hits. The only bad thing is the front hinge pillers, they are pretty rusted out as you can see in the pics below. There is also rust round the RH quarter wheel arch and at the bottem of both quarters, the inners were rusted as well.

I got to work and started on the LH piller

Great to see a 69 saved from the grave, it will be well worth the effort, good luck with it, regards, David (Add five stars)

If u are doing an engine swap go for teh 2 litre overhead cam or v6 2.6 or 2.8 or the V8 stay away from teh 2.4 turbo they are a very soft engine and cant withstand teh abuse of the turbo they will cause u nothing but trouble, i know i had one
