My 99 Camaro SS. Mmmm...Maybe Chevrolet's most famous two letters...
Winter Plans for '06 - '07 Here are a few pics of the car in my garage, and some of the parts to be installed. These are the last pictures of the car together that I have - fortunately work is coming along really nicely and should be able to post new assembled pictures this summer....hopefully even a dyno sheet and a new ET!
May 2009 - More Progess!
Clutch and hydraulics are installed and working properly. Heads w/studs installed and headers ready to be torqued down. Painted some parts to finish of the top end this week. Hopefully it looks good with the blue anodized Electric water pump!
Painted Fuel Rail (wasn't happy with the flat back OEM finish)
Painted intake and valve covers - not too bad for spray can! 2 coats base, 3 coats blue, 3 clear coats!
My roomate Jared in the engine bay! Easier to install and torque the heads this way :)
Got all the suspension complete in the rear end also - Eibach Springs, Bilstein shocks, UMI Lower control arms, Adjustable Panhard rod, Adjustable Torque arm mounted to a UMI tunnel brace and driveshaft loop!
Jan 2009 - Work finally continues...received my Lunati cam to acheive 592/591 total lift at 230/237 duration. So back to work and time to get this car back on the road this year! Following pics are of the double roller SLP timing chain, ported/blueprinted LS6 SLP oil pump, and Lunati cam install. Heads and clutch final assembly to follow!
Update August 2008! A few pics of the new heads and missing transmission and short block.
Pics from Spring 2006
June 10/06 A couple of new quick pics...sorry the sun was going down and didnt have the time to position the car the way I would have liked...
The original ZR1s wheels are now installed on my brother's 94 Z28. I gave them to him for Christmas '05...should have seen the look on his face!! ---> User ID is 94lt1maro. Here is his car:
A couple of old scanned pics...And here is a GMMG Woodward Camaro...wish mine was like this one!!
