HEy Ya'll THis is my Javelin! I will get you more pictures when I get the chance. I bought this for about 1200 with a bad engine. The other guy jumped it and blew a whole in the oilpan and left it sitting in his garage. The block was cracked and just needed a good doctor to do surgery. I put a new 360 AMC block in it and went to work. $$$ All new under the hood except the powersteeering. New holley 650 and flowmasters made this car sound great. The only negative was the paint which needed some work. Interior is ok, but am working on someone redoing the black seats. They need redone so I am saving my cash. I rebuilt the transmission (727)Auto and it shifts great. Someone put the leaf springs on it so it really jumps off the line. I could spin for a mile. I enjoy the car and javelins are growing on me. I will eventually repaint the mustard yellow with a new vinyl top. All the chrome is good and might just need redone if I paint it.
NEW PICTURES!!!
I recently posted the now black Javelin. I took off all the yellow with paint remover down to the bare metal, then primered it black. I will now take it to someone to do a professional job.
I am also waiting on my seats to come in, as you can see.
Not much interior needed anymore. Just some tender care.
Thanks for looking!!! It sure is fun to drive!!!

Hey man just got your message on my site. i really need to update my page. Your car is very straight very clean paint is to be expected with these old cars so thats not a biggy. I picked mine up for 1600 with a driveable motor but not a good one and IF i would have driven it more than a month it woulda blown. It was runnin on 7 cylinders and the bad piston only had one good ring on it and it was chipped and melted and fragments got rewelded to the face of the piston from the heat and it was just SHOT. so we tore it apart and had it bored .040 over and ive been saven $$$$ the past 7 months gettin court stuff done and waitin on spring time. About the spoiler and hood question you asked me. I am definitely gettin a cowl induction AMX style hood but im 50 50 when it comes to the spoiler. And im right there with you when it comes to originality of the car and how it was when it rolled off the line. Thats why i decided not to go with the front spoiler Valance repalacement that was on the AMX's. i want it to look good but people who know cars know its not an AMX but an SST. I decided with the hood because as much as i am in LOVE with Javelins the 71-4 javs are very pointy in the front end and the rear fenders are huge in comparison so the hieght of the hood helps even it out. the spoiler.....thats another Q for me i have to decide about but either way it will look good. I have a major hook up with Jav parts for my year car and will prolly buy both the hood and spoiler from the guy, see how the spoiler looks and decide from there cause pics help but they dont do justce when your lookin at the car and the parts in person. thanks for the comment and im lookin forward to seein more pics of yours!!
