This is my 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. It has been family owned since 1995. My mother bought it when I was 15. This XJ was wrecked in June, 1999 when a car in front of my mom locked it up and she rear-ended him. It was repaired and looked like new after the body work and new paint. It currently has 220,110 miles on the odometer as of June 23, 2009. Everything on it is original and it still runs good today. This is a rare Jeep to find in this body-style and in this good of shape. It is the only black, 2-door, Laredo equipped, Jeep Cherokee with factory tinted-windows I've ever seen to date. Every 2-door Jeep I've seen so far were 'Sport' editions with painted bumpers and standard wheels. Mine has Chrome bumpers, premium aluminum wheels, and is loaded with EVERY option you can get. It has a 4.0 Litre HO engine with an automatic transmission. I plan on building the engine to a 4.7 Litre and installing a turbo from 505 Performance in the future. I'm waiting to see how much work and abuse this Jeep engine can do before it goes, then I will start with the rebuild. *Update: The Jeep was placed into rest back in September 2006 because I had got something else to commute in. It was started for the first time since then back on October 3, 2008. It gave some hesitation due to the bad gas in the lines, but it finally picked up the 'good' gas and ran fine. So now, the Jeep is back in action....part-time that is. It isn't tagged/insured to drive on the road, but I do drive it around my property to keep it in tune.

This was taken at Cherokee Lanes right after a summer afternoon thunderstorm passed in Summer, 2005. The evening sun was peeking out after it passed and I love the colors of the sky in this picture.

This is what it looks like all cleaned up. Winter, 2006.

The interior. It's all stock.

This is the heart of my XJ. 4.0 I6.
