Welcome to My Ford Probe. I am relatively new at all this car stuff so please stick with me as I am going to ask a ton of questions. To start I am going to talk a little about my self and why I love probes.
This is a picture of what my first probe looked like.
I bought this turbo probe way back when I was 16. I paid $2500 cash. Inside it had a blaupunkt stereo and stock speakers. This car was what really turned me onto Probes. I loved the way that it felt and drove. But, unfortunatly it became way to expensive to own (power windows went out, replaced the clutch twice, and the radiator). Plus, my parents and myself were moving so, I had to sell it for $500 to a friend. *Sniff* I still miss that car...
But, Life goes on! I moved to Colorado and bought another Probe. This time I got a red 1996 Probe GT. It was awesome. It was so much better than my other probe. It was faster and looked better from the outside.
I had that car for a year before it became to expensive to own. I had to replace the rear hatch gas tubes (which cost $128 for the pair!) So, my parents talked me out of my beloved probe and into a 2002 Honda Civic LX. I liked the car but, it wasn't as much fun as my probe. So, I sat back and waited until I could once again be behind the wheels of the amazing Ford Probe.
Then it happened one day. My wife, (girlfriend at the time) crashed my Civic into someone. She was alright but, the car was totaled. I went without a car for quite a while (which was horrible!) But, after that I joined the army and now am in Honolulu and can't be happier because I now have my Probe back! I saw it in the newspaper one day and had to have it. There was no way that I wasn't going to have a probe. $2500 and it was mine. It came with all sorts of goodies already done to it. Which will be shown on the next couple of pages.
Since I bought the probe I have replaced the tires and have gotten sponsored by Sport Compact Pro and am racing here in Hawaii. I have so many plans for my car but, I feel that many of them are going to have to wait until I get back from Iraq. Please take a look at my car and tell me what I should do next (see poll).
