This is my 2001 Peugeot 206GTI. I had been thinking about the sound system design for a long time but the installation was recently finished. I also wanted to show that there are serious, creative and professional installs in Turkey, too. Let me share 10 days of hardwork put into this custom install with u.
System Components:
Head Unit:Alpine 7893 In dash mp3 player
Mids:Mb Quart PSD 216 & RKC 113 comps
Woofer:RF Punch HX2 12"
Amps:RF Power 400.4 & Bd.500
Cap:RF 1 Farad Digital
Here are the steps taken to complete the install;first the mdf was prepared:
Then the fiberglass was designed to smooth the mdf's rough look:
The places where the amps will be mounted is covered with plexyglass. Fiberglass attached to the mdf box looked like this in the trunk(before the paint job):
At the same time I got the Mb Quart PSD216s installed. The crossover is placed in a pocket in the door.
The interior lighting and the head unit's illumination color match quite good (not a detailed shot)
And at last, but definatelly not the least the final state(i will take a better pic soon):
When lit up, the cap looks cool
The trunk is even more beautiful in the dark
