Here's the Go-Fish in all it's purple metal-flake glory.
Originally a California desert car, I picked it up in South Dakota and drove it back to Austin, TX during a long weekend. It's in much better shape now, including new Edelbrock 4bbl 650 cfm carb, Commando-style valve covers, new plug wires, home-made shroud, boiled-out radiator, a front end that's been completely redone--Rides Like It's on Rails--new quick ratio steering box (converted from power to manual), rebuilt 727 transmission, new brakes all around, new gas tank, new front shocks, and probably a lot more I'm forgetting.
The interior is original and dark blue. New dash pad. I've got an extra instrument panel and light brown center console.

The original grille has been re-installed. This photo shows the grille from a '66 Valiant.
Mechanically, this is a very sound car. The only trouble spots are some rust behind the rear wheel wells and a place on the rear deck where the paint has flaked off.

This car gets a lot of thumbs up and attention when you drive down the road. And you can get down the road pretty darn quick. It's in great mechanical shape and you could drive it anywhere. The only thing that keeps it from being a daily driver for me here in TX is that it doesn't have air conditioning.
The wife says it has to go. I'm asking $6500. Compare it to other Barracudas in the same shape and you'll understand that it's worth it. I'm looking for somebody to fall in love w/ this car the way I did. Thanks for looking. Joe 512-452-6400
