this was solidly the best car i ever owned. a 1993 e-class diesel in mint condition. black with black leather interior, six disc changer, heated seats, power everything, and all of 420,000 miles. im sorry i ever sold it, and i would buy another one in a heartbeat. i thought i had to sell it because i was moving to wyoming and didnt think it would take the cold too well. when i got here i found out that its warmer than minneapolis on average, and i did indeed have access to an outlet to plug in my block heater. what a blow!

i just bought this engine about a week ago. its a 1983 4 cylinder non-turbo diesel from a 240d. i plan to find a tranny to go with it and put it into my friends bmw 3 series for a biodiesel conversion.
