After getting the car back from repaint (encountered a bad sand storm on the way to Las Vegas earlier this Spring) I hadn't really taken time to clean it all up and get out for some fresh pics. It was an absolutely beautiful day up in Ojai where I now live, as well as down at the beach in Ventura where I work. I took the long way in Friday morning and got a few shots I'd like to share:

I bought the LED strips for this back-up lighting project months ago, but finally got around to installing them on my ride today! Since I replaced the OEM tails with Gen 2.5 LED tails, that require separate back-up lights in the bumper. Some guys have modified their tails to make the signals/flashers work with the brake lights, but since I have yellow indicators everywhere else on the car, I wanted that to remain consistent in the rear as well. I came up with this concept while shopping for LEDs for other lighting projects I have in store in the future.

(quicks pics of the install at night - will have some day time pics up soon as well)

A sneak peak at the prototype V6 Headers & Y-pipe from JP Performance Products! Sounds baddass and power increase is quite noticeable! :D

Have done a lot of WORK to my ride since last posting... and not much to show for it in pics, but all performance-related stuff that's hidden under the car!

I added the Whiteline Front Sway Bar (alot of work/hassle to do - but thanks to my buddy Milt - we finally got it to work!) - AFAIK this is the first installation in the US - the Whiteline bar comes from Australia. The result is like someone put your car on tracks - you CAN"T break the back end loose at all and with the current tires I'm running (225/45/18 Falkens) they stick like glue to the road. This thing rides a bit rougher now, but so worth it for the cornering/handling I now have! ;)

Also upgraded my brakes/brake lines. Added drilled/slotted rotors from R1 Concepts, with some high performance pads, and some Stoptech SS Brake Lines. Stops on a dime now too!

I also added a new set of upper/lower grilles. Kind of the Trenz style but painted black. Will get them powder-coated some day.

Here's how it looks with the new ride height and new grilles... this got me a 3rd place trophy at the SoCal Toyota Car Show by Team NGC :)
