Thanks for checking out my 2001 Mustang GT. Right now all I have is a Diablosport Predator Programmer and a K&N CAI, but I do have realistic and big modifications in store for it within the next year or so.

BTW: I "had" the Mach 460 head unit in the car (6 disc in dash cd player) but the damn thing broke a month after I bought the car. Now for those of you who have this type of ford head unit, you know how much of a pain in the ass they can be. So I ripped out the old head unit, and bought a sony xplod mp3 player (to compensate for no more 6 disc). Plus I had to buy an "amplifier integration kit" because the stock stereo has 2 amps in the trunk that won't work without it.

I'd be perfectly happy running low 13's or high 12's with this car. I know that there is always going to be someone out there that is faster than me, but that's just the nature of the game. I've got a house and another project car (a 1980 Datsun 200sx, which is also on cardomain), so realistically in a year I don't expect to be done with the car, at least not all of the way.

Current Mods:

Performance Mods:
K&N CAI
Diablosport Predator Power Programmer

Cosmetic Mods:
Black "Mustang" Vinyl Bumper Inserts
"Bullitt" Rims
"Bullitt" Fuel Door
Shaved GT Badges
Mach 1 Hood Stripe (updated pics soon)

Future Mods:

5.1 Stroker Kit (either that or Kenne Bell 1.7L Twin Screw Supercharger on the current motor)
SLP Loudmouth Exhaust
Mach 1 Shaker Hood
3.90 Gears

That's it for now.

Update 5/12/06

Took off the GT badging for a cleaner look, only to find that the fenders have "alignment holes" for the emblems. Now I have to find a replacement badge. I was thinking 4.6 emblems like the fox body 5.0. I also purchased GTS Flame Tail Light covers, which you can see in one of the pics. I'm not a fan of Eurotails, and I don't see any Mustangs by me with these covers, and they look decent.

Hey Dan , Thanks for the Comps . Looks like you got yourself a nice ride as well !!! I didn,t vote on your poll cause i say ya put a 440 in it ! HaHa just joking . A supercharged 5.4L sure would be sweet. I agree on your comment about that new thing they call a Charger , but at least it,s a V8 with rwd.It coulda been worse. That srt8 aint to shabby looking though. Have a good 1 .....Harry .. you ever run your car at Rt. 66 ???

I don't mind the newer Modular Mustangs but they are expensive to mod. The 3.73's don't sound like a bad choice and I like the idea of the 5.1 stroker and the 5.4 swap. Supercharger is a good way to go on a modular but everybody has one. Check out the Kenne Bell kits if you go forced induction. My favorite of the post-93 bodystyles are the 03 Mach 1 and 04 Cobra. Good Luck.........
