You have a glove compartment on your center console. My 86 do not have that and I need a glove compartment. Is that common for that year?

WOW!!! Now that is what I'm talking about!! I just bought an 89 SEC Black on black with 110k on it. I thought it was going to work out as a good buy but just got the word that it will take a few G's to get it back to a smooth ride. I bought the car for 3500 and my mechanic tells me it will cost $500 for a new fuel pump relay and shifter bushings. Does that sound about right???? Unfortunately i didn't know what I was getting into considering I thought it wouldn't cost an arm and a let to get up and running well. Anyhow, how much is a car like yours worth and are they worth the $$$?????? thanks for your time.
