THUNDERKATT69's 1964 Ford Fairlane

Just a little tweaking and tuning back in '90........

The '68 302 mill before disassembly

A further note for those interested........
I have also added a page of mine at Hemmings Motor News. Some of the pics are the same with a few more others added........

It's my very first car signed over to me by my dad in '82, when I was 16. These particular pics are from approx 2000, I think, and I will have others coming by Spring this year.
I have installed a PST front-end suspension kit, and have the Edelbrock Street Performer 600 series to install on the top end of the '68 302 block. One inch lowering blocks in the rear, and coil and a half cut from the front springs give it a nice profile. The body is stock for now, of course, but I have plans to do some minor mods and upgrades in the near future.
I will have a more completed list in the near future.

Summer 2000, shortly after starting disassembly of engine and front suspension.

Partially disassembled block, in preparation to grind and polish the heads. I kept the 2 bbl heads for better low end torque, as hi-flow for top end performance is not neccessary
for daily driving. I did gasket match and polish the heads and runners for better flow, and have installed roller rockers at this time, to go with the new Performer Cam set up from Edelbrock.

This is my own style JBL 4x10 sub cabinet, as I could not find one locally to do what I needed in my '95 Ranger, with an American Legacy 890 amp that maxes at 1200, but I keep it down to about 600 watts, so I can keep the windows in my truck.

This is the ol' 'Lane at my mom's with the '95 Ranger rims on it with some 255/60-15's mounted. The fit is VERY close, and I am going to have to drop down probably to a 70 series to get them to fit the wheelwells, even tho' the wide footprint looks great on it.

My Li'l get around everyday driver, it does what I need it to do, and very reliable, plus just a lot of fun !!!! If you look in the backgound, the ol' 'Lane is in the back.......

A few NEW UPDATES just recently, due to work schedule, and karaoke show schedules. Still trying to get some updates, but schedule has been heavy this summer, doing shows five nights a week hasn't left me much car time-LOL !!!

Seeing as how I have moved several times over the years, I will be getting all the goodies rounded up and will be putting some more pics of them up before the end of this summer -'07.
