2002 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air
Thank you for checking out my Trans Am page. Please feel free to let me know what you think or if you have any ideas for my ride.
Saturday,(April 08,2006) was the first time I actually really raced my TA. I raced my cousin in his 02 Chevrolet Camaro SS. We ran it twice from a dead stop. The first race I beat him by a car length. The second race I reved my car up to 1800 RPM and I had no traction so he got a good jump. I was catching up but ran out of room so he beat me by half a car length. Our cars are modded pretty much the same. I have a SLP Loudmouth and he has magnaflow, we both have K&N filters. I felt good about the end result. I also race my friend's 02 Mustang GT at a 30 punch, well no need to tell you the end result, cause you know by now. (BEAT HIM BY 3 CAR LENGTHS) before I let off.
This was the day I drove to Lucy Park.
It was a very cold day.

My MODS:
SLP Loudmouth - I love the sound perfect to my ears.
I HAVE QUESTION ABOUT MY EXHAUST. WILL AN SLP CAT-BACK Y-PIPE SOUND BETTER THAN THE STOCK Y-PIPE?
Please let me know, I really would appreciate it.

My wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust II, 17x9.5 in the front and 17x11 in the back, wrapped in BF Goodrich KDW 275/40/17 in the front and BF Goodrich KD 315/35/17 in the rear.
I also have 3.23 gears stock from factory.
Also added a K&N filter to help my car breath.
MODS TO BE DONE
SLP whisper lid - to accompany my Loudmouth.
Clear sidemarkers front and back.
New black decals and inserts, change silver Trans Am door emblems to solid black Trans Am emblems.
Don't know if I want to put my license plate cover back on cause I've been pulled over 4 times for no license plate on the front. Luckily they've all been warnings. Don't want to take a chance on a ticket.
Paint lower rear bumper Charcoal Metallic.
Thinking about lowering my car but don't know. Back tires rub fender, looking to fix the problem first.
This is a pic of my new Sylvania SilverStar parking light bulbs. Gives spectrum colors when sun shines on them.

Had a blowout going 70mph. I'm going with BFG again cause I like the way they pretected my wheel. There wasn't a scratch on them thanks to the curb protecters.
