Before the Restoration Starts.... I have owned this car for 25 years. The car has 66,526 original miles on it. My daugther and I along with my other trusted partners, Mike & Mike, are just starting to do a complete restoration on the vehicle. She has a ventured interest as it will become her car. Car rear before starting... Car's History: ............. This car was purchased from a local Toronto Ford Dealership back in May 69, for a price of $3814.40. The original owner drag raced the car, going through 5 different engines. It was sold at some point in the early 70's to a fellow in Toronto where the car sat for quite some time. The engine was replaced with a correct Boss motor in this period. In 1977 the car changed ownership again to the guy I purchased it from . He did some major engine modifications, however he did retain all the original parts that he took off. The car was painted in 1979 for the first time. I purchased the car for $5000.00 in 1984, much to the distress of my parents. At that time the car only had 54,000 miles on it. Since that time I have had a dream of restoring the car. Many trips to Carlisle, Pa, and other swap meets around the country to bring those prize possessions home. So now, 22 years later, my girls and I are fulfilling our dream.....
