This is actually my wife's new '06 Scion tC. We picked it up December 28th 2005 at Street Toyota/Scion in Amarillo, TX. Now, I have forever bashed the idea of buying foreign cars; especially Toyotas and Hondas. But, I finally broke down to see the incredible value found in this Scion. We looked at the Chevy Cobalt and the Pontiac G6 but didn't really feel the push to convince ourselfs to go with them. But, this is an amazing car that we both love alot. We've put 15% tint on so far, and a K&N filter, but other than that it's staying stock for a while. -We'll probably get the Euro spoiler and the door sill kick plates soon too.

Here are some pics of the day we picked up the tC. Street Scion in Amarillo was really a great dealership to work with. They really know what their doing and are excited about thier products. -something we didn't see anywhere else.

Update ...... 06/14/07

We've had the tC over a year now, and it's still going great. Unfortunaly we drive alot so the car now has 32,000 miles! We had a few minor problems so far though. First, the driver's side seat latch broke and was replaced under warrenty. The glove box rattles like crazy and we can't get them to fix it. The hatch rattles too, but the dealership can't find that either. It's bearable, but I hope it doesn't get worse over time. My wife hit a curb, and blew both of the pass. side tires. Pirellis are expensive! Also, the paint on this thing is horrible!! There are so many chips on the front bumper and hood. I take really good care of my cars, and I just can't keep up with this thing! It also gets door dings way too easily. Once I get some chips fixed, I'm going to have to check into getting a clear bra cover for it. Anyone else have problems w/ their paint?

Secondly, I did get a lip spoiler installed. It really looks great. But now that there are so many tC's on the road, we're going to have to get some ground effects to set it off from all the others. All these tC's look too much alike. Better start saving!

I'll have new pics up soon.
