Pics are of the car as purchased.

It was originaly purchased in Toledo, Ohio and then moved to Colorado and eventualy ended up in Arizona. It looks to be painted the original color, I am guessing "Turbine Bronze". I intend to paint the car white with a black roof, but I may go with the original color with a black roof.

The floor boards and trunk are very solid but the quarters and rockers have been gone for years, there is so much filler that in some places its 1/2 an inch thick. you can see in the pics where the body work was done and the halfass repaint. I got a cheap parts car a few weeks back and I pulled the quarters, fenders and doors and started prepping them so they are done before I hang them.

The interior is OK for now, this is going to be the hard part. I got an AM radio, radio bezel and a passenger side arm rest off of E-bay.

The car has a 383. It runs very well and has some power, future plans are to stroke the 383 with a 413 crank kit from Eagle and a TCI transmission.

Here are a few before and after shots of the 1/4 panle, found this under a few hundred pounds of Bondo and fiberglass

A shot of the Passenger side 1/4. Why bother sanding it, I know what it looks like under there....scarry!

The trunk, it doesnt look that bad in the photo but there are hundreds of pin holes and the passenger side trunk extension is totaly gone and wil need to be fabricated.

I started working the new front fender and inner fenders for the drivers side. I have a whole clip, but I am just working on a few pices at a time.

Looks like you done quite a bit of body work. Nice to see somone willing to save these old furys. I see your car is the mid year released color option Turbine Bronze. Would it be too mush trouble to get that paint code from you? I just signed up tonight on Cardomain. I too have a 66 Sportfury. Thanks Rex

Congrats on all the work you have done to her! A long shot I know, but as you can see I am in the UK. I have a 66 Sport Fury, among a few others, but she is missing the right hand front wheel opening moulding. Are you going to be using yours and if not, would you consider selling it? I have a friend in California that you could send it to if that helps. Either way, keep up the good work, will be great to see her finished. All the best. Graham.
