    Another jmhaberaf 1966 Plymouth Fury post...
    Here is a few shots of the back board attached to the upper panel, I used 1/8th rivetsThe black vinyl laid out on the driveway, I found that a steam iron on medium heat and lots and lots of steam will take the wrinkles out of this heavy vinyl Below you can see a step by step how I did this, it was pretty easy and I used a heat gun to soften the vinyl and help it stretch better. Also if your going to do this don't skimp on the glue, get the good stuff (3M) and use allot of it. Also Craftsman makes these little plastic clips that lock and are only about 15 bucks for a 4 pack, i found these to be a very valuable tool when glueing the corners down...just clamp them on and let it rest till the glue sets up. Also you can see in one of the photos I ran the batting around the back side...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS. I had to redo this panel because the glue did not take hold on the back side, instead trim it flush with the front and then wrap only the vinyl around the back side. The second attempt was much better with no creases like you see in the final result and I will post pics of it later.

    Some mor pics of the new fender and door install Supprise! this ancient hornets nest....wonder how long its been there... I though I would find some rust in this area but its very clean and I am very happy, its one less thing I will have to patch. Door off, the inside it trashed right now, its the only place I store anything. Radiator support pained...Will need touched up but I like the way it turned out. Here is the fender and door on, having trouble with gaps, I need to mess with the shims some more... Before and after...engine detailing Before and after of wheel detailing Some before and after...lowering and getting her on the road again The face of evil Some new parts, the fuel sstem was junk...rusty tank, broken pick-up, corroded lines, junk fuel pump...so I got me some new stuff...new tank, pick up, fuel line and a new performance pump from Carter (not pictured) Some nose art I doodled to pretty her up till I can get her painted Tore engine parts off and masked and painted the engine and installed new Hedman Hedders today

    The floor boards and trunk are very solid but the quarters and rockers have been gone for years, there is so much filler that in some places its 1/2 an inch thick. you can see in the pics where the body work was done and the halfass repaint. I got a cheap parts car a few weeks back and I pulled the quarters, fenders and doors and started prepping them so they are done before I hang them.
